What Is The Land?
The Land is a persistent fantasy roleplaying world where each player guides a single character through an unfolding story shaped by exploration, choice, risk, faction, mystery and consequence.
Humanity arrived in this strange and dangerous realm more than five hundred years ago, fleeing the destruction of its former world. Since then, settlements have risen, ancient ruins have been uncovered and the mysterious beings known as the Divines have become inseparable from human civilisation.
Every character follows their own path. Players may pursue the stories placed before them, become involved in the struggles of factions and settlements, or abandon the expected road entirely in search of their own ambitions.

Is The Land currently available to the public?
The Land is presently undergoing limited beta testing. Access is being expanded gradually while its systems, setting and supporting platform continue to develop.
Do I control a single character?
Yes. Each player follows the experiences of an individual character within the wider persistent world.
Do I need previous roleplaying experience?
No. The game is intended to support both experienced roleplayers and people discovering this style of play for the first time.
Can I choose my own direction?
Yes. Events and opportunities may be placed before your character, but the story belongs to you. You may follow them, ignore them or pursue something entirely different.
Beta Access
The Land is currently in a restricted beta phase. Existing testers and selected players are being granted access as the game and its supporting systems develop.
Wider access, expanded character management and further community features are planned for later stages of development.
